DANCING With The Stars’ judge Todd McKenney has given himself a severe and thorough tongue-lashing, claiming “I’ve been a naughty boy and I need to be punished!”
McKenney is under fire for excessively criticising a blind man who was stupid enough to allow himself to be judged by Todd McKenney in the first place.
McKenney told blind Paralympian Gerrard Gosens after his salsa routine that he “was not a great dancer” and his performance “was awkward.”
Gosens is reported to have replied “Did you work that out all by yourself, Captain Obvious? Or did someone at Rushcutters Bay Park tell you the same thing?”
After viewer backlash to Channel Seven, home of Dancing with the Stars, McKenney told the media that he would happily impose his own punishment on himself for his surly outburst.
“I did a bad bad thing, now I’m going to pay the price. Who’s going to pay the price? I am! Oh I’m going to give myself the tongue lashing of my life! Oh yes I am! And I will not like it! I will not like it one bit! I promise not to squirm like a little piggy! I will not squeal like a naughty little piggy! NO! I will take my tongue lashing like the naughty little boy that I am!”
The press conference ended prematurely when many of the journalists in the room threw up.
