22 year old Sydney resident, Beven Gougoulas, is tonight in intensive care at Bankstown Hospital in Sydney’s southwest.
Gougoulas, who works as an assistant wedding cake photographer and rents his spare room to turtles on Airbnb, was attacked by 2 teenagers while walking home alone from local takeaway shop ‘You Kebab Me at Hello’.
Just prior to the attack, Gougoulas was tweeting from his phone while walking, a trend known as Wankering. Viewingteens ahead, he posted to his 36 followers:

When the two teens stopped Gougoulas and asked for his wallet, watch and Coles Branded mobilephone, Gougloulas refused, and tweeted:
Wow. getting mugged. they want my wallet with $18 and voucher for free kebab in it, my $4 Ben 10 watch and my Colesphone! The gall!

Gougoulas was found stuffed behind bushes, bloodied, bruised and unconscious, soon after by a group of graphic designers who were out socialising together at a local pub. They reported the assault to police after posting photos of Gougoulas to Instagram.
